Governed orchestration
Useful orchestration is controlled progress: dependencies establish readiness, authority bounds action, and evidence determines what can advance.
01 / Readiness
Establish readiness before dispatch
Bees begins with explicit task dependencies rather than treating more agents as an automatic improvement. Its implemented foundation validates task DAGs, gates dependency-ready dispatch, and constrains concurrency before work can move.02 / Authority
Keep authority bounded as work moves
The orchestration layer manages bounded agent reservations and lifecycle, enforces cumulative budgets and least-authority grants, and requires structured, hash-bound outputs.03 / Evidence
Require evidence before advancement
Evidence-gated routing records exact provider, runtime, adapter, and model identity; qualifies workloads; preserves quality during reselection; and checkpoints or stops safely when no defensible route exists. The August 2026 résumé snapshot records 373 contract assertions and a bounded loopback-only Ollama validation using quantized Qwen2.5-Coder 3B Instruct on an NVIDIA RTX 3060.
